As many of you will know, I am a United fan. I am seeing the current business we are doing in the transfer market right now, and it’s looking promising. The right targets are being found and pounced upon.
Yoro would be a fantastic signing and despite the high price, the hope would be for a big resale value in the future as he is only 18. Any player targeted by Real Madrid must be a very good player. His aerial ability and sweeping tendencies are much needed in this team when Martinez can step a bit higher to get involved in play.
De Ligt would be great for squad depth and he has the Ten Hag connection.
Zirkzee has incredible ball retention and a touch. I can finally see Ten Hag’s aims now to be the transition team he wants. If we manage to get Ugarte from PSG then I can picture this team taking shape. Mainoo and Ugarte as the pivots collecting the ball from the defence on the half turn, Zirkzee taking the ball down from Onana and setting up Rashford or Garnacho running onto the balls. I am excited.
Sancho has also returned and has patched things up with Ten Hag. I still have my doubts but let’s see, he’s not a bad player and can even play as a false 9 or a 19 if needed. We need to sell Antony.
We still need a CM, and a new fullback. It remains to be seen the business we are still yet to do.
