Arda Guler – he’s struggled with injuries this season but he is the latest attacking starlet to be added to the Real Madrid roster – Turkey have always been dark horses for international tournaments, but there is optimism this time with a relatively easy group (aside from Portugal) and a chance for him to dazzle.
Lamine Yamal - a young Spanish side made even younger with his inclusion, the 18 year old has set La Liga alight for Barcelona, and looks set to start each game. His dazzling tricks, directness in his play and his finishing will be likely to appeal to all football fans.
Cole Palmer – what a season he has had. He looked like England’s brightest spark against Iceland and Bosnia, and from the bench I suspect he will have a huge impact. One to watch for young player of the tournament.
Warren Zaire-Emery – there is every chance he might not start in France’s pretty set midfield, but the youngster has had a fantastic season for PSG and looks an absolute natural heir to Paul Pogba. The energy and flair that he possesses will add an extra dagger to France’s already flawless squad.
Artem Dovbyk – the spearhead of Girona’s fantastic season, Ukraine are certainly hoping that their main man will propel them into the knockouts. He is fast, strong and powerful, everything you need in a no.9.
Xavi Simons – dazzling, magical, can play on the wing or in the CAM. He will return to PSG to continue his mighty rise to stardom. Can he pair well with De Jong to add some extra pace to this Netherlands team, that already includes a host of attacking talent from hidden places.
Florian Wirtz – an unbeaten season with Leverkusen. Involved in every attack. He will have a fantastic tournament.
Benjamin Sesko – there is a reason he is linked with almost every top club in the world. Clinical in front of goal, he is one I am most looking forward to watching.
